Lets Go!
Our journey begins in Glasgow where we will depart early in the morning (7am). We will make our way to Glenfinnan via Loch Lomond including a short comfort stop along the way. Once we arrive at Glenfinnan we will make our way towards the famous Railway Viaduct and get into a suitable position to capture The Jacobite Express, better know as The Hogwarts Express, on its iconic journey as portrayed in Harry Potter.
From Glenfinnan we will make our way in the direction of Fort William to our next location, the boat wreck washed up on the shore at Corpach. This will allow the group to take a wide variety of compositional shots of the wreck, Ben Nevis and the Corpach Basin section of the Caledonian Canal.
We will make our way from Corpach, through the town of Fort William and down towards the Glencoe and Rannoch Moore areas. We will be stopping at locations within these areas such as, the Three Sisters, Meeting of Three Waters, The Langangarbh Hut (Stob Dearg) and Blackrock Cottage. We will include additional locations if time allows.
From Blackrock Cottage we will make our way back towards Glasgow via Loch Lomond once again including a short comfort stop before our return to the departure point. If time allows we will include additional location stops on the return journey.
Before the workshop terminates we will make final arrangements for the date and time for the editing session over Zoom and will also be recorded and posted into the group to rewatch. This will be done using Adobe Lightroom and/or Photoshop. If you email your favourite photo you captured from the workshop, I will go through each one, editing them with my workflow, for you to watch and then follow along.
